Jennifer Newsom, formerly with Goodman & Nekvasil where she practiced in the area of securities arbitration, joined the firm in 2009 as an associate. She graduated, cum laude, from The University of Toledo College of Law, where she was also a member of Law Review, and she received an LL.M. (Tax) from the Graduate Tax Program of The University of Florida College of Law. Ms. Newsom practices with the firm in the areas of securities litigation/arbitration and in related tax matters. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, including, most recently, an article in The Florida Bar Journal addressing the tax treatment of investor losses in Ponzi schemes.
